Holland Lops
Our Holland lops are fun-loving, family-raised bunnies looking for their new forever home! These bunnies are bred exclusively within our family, and every lop is a pedigree purebred. Our lops will go to their new homes very spoiled and friendly, as we provide them with constant human interaction and love. Holland Lops make excellent pets for any age, as not only do we give them as much attention as possible, but they are constantly handled by children of all ages. Our bunnies come on a first come, first serve basis, and we will keep bunnies reserved in the order of interest received. Holland lops tend to have small litters, usually 4-5 bunnies per litter, and bunnies get reserved very quickly, so be sure to reserve your bunny early to ensure that you will receive him/her! We will post all available bunnies on our website and Facebook page (color/gender/price) as they become ready for a deposit. We will determine sex and color to the best of our ability; if the color changes as the bunny gets older or for some reason missed the correct sex we do apologize but we DO determine both to the best of our ability. Each bunny will go to their new home with a pedigree paper (if desired with a $5 fee) which has the bunny's information, his/her parent's information, and the new owner's information on it. Note that bunnies will NOT be sold before 8 weeks old. Our main priority is to breed sweet and friendly pet-quality Holland lop bunnies, but we do breed bunnies that are breeding-quality or show-quality. New lop owners are recommended to pick up their new bunny at our home, but we will meet and deliver locally. We love each and every one of our Holland Lop bunnies and want to find the best home possible for them!

Things to consider when you purchase a Holland Lop:
1. You will need a cage made fit for a bunny with plenty of space for food bowl, water bottle, toys, and litter box (if desired) - please remember that bunnies like to hop around and stretch their legs so a large cage made specifically for a bunny is important
2. You will need to feed your bunny good quality rabbit pellets and fresh timothy hay daily, and water emptied and refreshed daily
3. If you keep your bunnies outside you will need a sturdy cage with a strong roof to keep your bunnies protected and dry, and a wind barrier for winter, with no direct sunlight in the summer as well. And PLEASE make sure it is predator safe! (we keep ALL of our lops inside, and we recommend for our babies to be kept inside as well)
4. Bunnies do NOT require shots, but spay/neutering is recommended for bunnies desired to be kept as pets, although it is NOT required
5. Before bringing your new bunny to your home please find a vet near you that treats bunnies in case an emergency were to arise with your new bunny (not all vets see bunnies!)
6. Holland Lops LOVE attention! So please make sure that you make the time to spend with them each day. Exercise outside of their cage daily is also very important!
7. Bunnies love treats! But PLEASE do not feed your baby bunny any treats until at least 6 months of age (NEVER any iceberg lettuce!!! Fruits are loved as well, but in small quantities occasionally)
8. Cedar shavings are a NO GO as they become toxic when mixed with bunny urine!
************* If you have ANY questions about your new bunny please ask us! We will be more than happy to direct you to the correct items or give you the best tips and information possible for food and treats!***********

About us:
My name is Kassie, and my husband Austin and I, along with my sister Kelly, own and run Holland Bunny Lop. We are a family rabbitry farm and use only purebred Holland Lop bunnies within our family to ensure the best babies possible. All of our lops are raised completely indoors, surrounded by constant human contact and the best care possible. Being a close-knit family, our holland lops have grown together, forming bonds with the other lops to make the friendliest setting possible for our does and bucks. Both my sister and I got our first holland lops, Milo and Kida, around the same time and these sweet bunnies have found a special place in both our hearts. We breed these bunnies for the joy that these sweet lops give us, and our only hope is to find the best homes possible for our baby bunnies!
How we care for our bunnies:
- we feed our bunnies 1/2 to 1 cup of good quality rabbit pellets daily along with unlimited timothy hay (hay is VERY important in a rabbit's diet!)
- we use a large water bottle and empty and refill with fresh water daily (we use large, RABBIT sized water bottles as bunnies can drink a lot of water. Water bottles that are smaller in size will not last and could possibly cause your bunny to become dehydrated)
- we use a litter box and litter box train ALL of our bunnies! Even our babies grow up with a litter box in their cage from birth until they leave for their new homes. It keeps the cage much cleaner and helps with accidents outside of their cage
- we handle our bunnies daily, sometimes more than once a day! Holland Lops are very social bunnies and love to be loved, and we love to love them!
- we allow our bunnies exercise outside of their cage EVERY DAY. I even let my bunnies free in my house, and they love it! We just make sure litter boxes, food, and water is in easy access to a bunny if it has a need for them. We both also own bunny play pens, which are another excellent way for a bunny to get exercise outside of their cage!
- we make sure to keep their cages clean and in top shape! We always make sure to clean the entire cage at LEAST once a week, and the litter box as often as needed.
- we both use carrying cases for our bunnies any time we travel. Not only are they safer, but they're also more comfortable and easier for transporting bunnies. I would recommend any bunny owner to invest in a small carrying case. You can purchase one at a very decent price at any local Petco/PetSmart.
- we have NEVER given any of our bunnies a bath! Bunnies get cold very easily, and baths can be very dangerous for a bunny's health as it causes their body temperature to drop quickly. Bunnies are naturally very clean animals and bathe themselves, like a cat. We have never had any kind of issue with our bunnies being dirty. The only 'cleaning' we do is wetting a wash cloth and wiping the bottoms of their feet.
- our bunnies LOVE the outdoors! I have a leash and harness for my bunny and I walk my bunnies around the yard! If you do decide to do this PLEASE be safe! Make sure you purchase a leash and harness designated
specifically for a bunny! They are easily purchased at your local pet store for a good price. Make sure it's fitted correctly and isn't loose enough for your bunny to slip through.
